The School of Psychology at the University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a teaching-focused Assistant Professor in the area of Psychology of Education. We’re looking to appoint someone with experience in administering psychological assessments to children and/or adults within an educational or research context. The appointment will deliver teaching in Psychology of Education across our BSc and MSc taught programmes. The post involves curriculum design, teaching, student support and administrative activities. There’s opportunity for the successful applicant to collaborate with the School’s highly regarded educational psychology training programme.
Nottingham is a great place for developmental psychology – we have a large, friendly team of developmental researchers studying both typical and atypical development, a large community of PhD and Masters students, good links with local schools and a database of over 1000 families interested in taking part in studies. We also run Summer Scientist Week, an annual public engagement and research event attended by ~500 children and their parents.
