The Early Education Advisor serves as support for the BADM team on early childhood education, including curriculum and exhibition development, facilitation and training practices, evaluation, and communications. The Early Education Advisor’s role is to ensure that BADM’s educational rationale is incorporated throughout programs, exhibits and communications, helping to institutionalize BADM’s signature educational experiences and ensure that they are aligned with current research in early childhood education. Additionally, s/he works as a part of the Research, Evaluation and Innovation (REI) team to translate research into practice at BADM, throughout California and the nation. 

Reporting to the Director of STEM Learning and Innovation, this part-time (50%), temporary, exempt role is responsible for ensuring the quality and cohesion of the Museum’s educational work and representing the Museum nationally. This is a temporary position to cover a leave of absence from September 2019 through March 2020.
