Faculty in the Brain Cognitive and Developmental Sciences Area (BCD) of the Department of Psychology at Miami University (MU), Oxford Ohio, are seeking bright energetic and highly motivated students to join our graduate program for Fall 2019.
The Brain Cognitive and Developmental Science Program in the Department of Psychology at Miami University consists of 10 faculty who have teaching and research interests in the following areas: Behavioral Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Perception & Action, Human Factors, Child Cognitive Development, Judgment & Decision Making, and Higher-Order Cognition. In addition to our teaching and research interests, we also have expertise in such advanced research techniques and technologies as EEG, eye-tracking, fnirs, web-based research, signal detection theory, and quantitative modeling. Thus our goal is to provide graduate students with experiences in learning and developing research competencies in these technologies.
Our program of study requires five years to complete. Typically, graduate students receive financial support for all five years in the form of teaching and research assistantships and are encouraged through their graduate school matriculation to work with and to mentor undergraduate students.
