The Language Learning and Development Lab, directed by Dr. Henny Yeung (Department of Linguistics at Simon Fraser University in Canada), and the Laboratory for Language Development, headed by Dr. Reiko Mazuka (RIKEN Center for Brain Science in Japan) are jointly looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects related to cross-linguistic / cultural differences in infant, toddler, and child language development. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to carry out most of their work at SFU, but will also be encouraged to collaborate with project partners in both Asia and Europe

A review of applications will begin on June 1st, 2021, and proceed on a rolling basis. The appointment of this postdoctoral fellow will initially be for a 2-year term with annual review. There is also a possibility of contract renewals for 1-2 additional years, and the postdoctoral fellow will further be expected to develop their own research ideas.

The start date is flexible, but June or July 2021 are ideal, with online/remote work until a return to campus is permitted at SFU (likely fall), when living in metro Vancouver, Canada is expected. More details can be found at
