The Parents Promoting Early Learning project directed by Drs. Elizabeth Votruba-Drzal, Heather Bachman, and Melissa Libertus at the University of Pittsburgh is looking to hire a full-time data manager starting as soon as possible. The main goal of the project is to examine the role of the home learning environment for toddlers’ and preschool-aged children’s emerging math abilities. This position is ideal for recent college graduates looking to gain more research experience or for someone with training in a quantitative field who would like to apply these skills to an applied field. The position mainly entails data management (transfer and archiving of videos and audio recordings, scoring of assessments, management of databases, coding) and supervision of undergraduate research assistants.
