The Baby Brain Lab at UT Dallas is looking for a motivated full-time research assistant to join our team in the Summer of 2019. The research assistant will be working on a NIH-funded longitudinal study of caregiver speech and infant brain development (funding pending). The research assistant’s duties include participant recruitment, testing infants in the lab, attending scans sessions at the UTD Center for BrainHealth, data management and database maintenance, supervision of student research assistants, and administrative responsibilities. This is a benefits-earning position that requires a minimum 1-year commitment. There is the possibility of renewal for a second and third year. A BA or equivalent is required and previous experience working with young children is preferred. The best candidate would be detail oriented and love working with kids and families. This would be an excellent position for someone looking for research experience in early brain and behavior development before applying to graduate school. Applicants can contact the lab PI, Meghan Swanson directly at . More information on the lab can be found at https://labs.utdallas.edu/babybrainlab/.
